Where Will YOu Leave Your Mark?
Mission Quest 2010
To whom it may concern:
I attend Candlewyck Baptist Church and this is our second year hosting Mission Quest which is a summer day camp where teenagers of all ages come to our campus to learn about God and what he can do in their lives but to also go out in our city of Charlotte and serve others through various activities. Some are participating in a soup kitchen, visiting homeless shelters for women, men, and children, going to the cheer up people who are in the hospital, having backyard bible clubs, picking up trash, and so much more. In order for this year to be as successful as the last we are trying to expand the activities for our teenagers to partake in. We would like to come for one day during the week and do some yard work about your facility to help you out. If you have any other opportunities that we could do during our week we would love to help out.
Our camp starts June 21 -25, and teenagers come from all parts of North Carolina and South Carolina to volunteer their time and energy in serving God. We will volunteer from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
We would like to know if one of our groups of ten teenagers could come to your facility between these time on either Monday-Thursday and volunteer doing whatever you need or would like for them to do while they are there. We also want you to know that their will be chaperones with each group ranging from two to three adults the whole time supervising the teens. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us at any time.
